Dr. Yukti Modhia is associated with Som-Lalit Institute of Business Administration, as a full-time Accountancy faculty, since last 21 years and is the Director of the B.B.A. programme. Besides having a professional degree of Chartered Accountant, she has completed her doctorate in Accountancy on “A Study on Financial Statements of Selected Companies from Agro-Based Manufacturing Sector in India” from S.D. School of Commerce, Gujarat University.She is a management educator with a passion for teaching-learning since the last two decades. She has more than 20 years of experience in teaching various subjects relating to Accountancy, Direct Tax and Financial Management to management students at the undergraduate level. Her research interests primarily include financial performance and corporate reporting practices of Agro-based industries in India, sustainable economy practices, international trade finance, etc.She has also taught the paper of Financial Analysis and Accounting at International Business Programme Sem-I, which was under joint collaboration of Indian and International University from the UK.She has served in the capacity of chairperson in framing the syllabi of ‘Direct Tax’ and ‘Advanced Tax and Laws’ for semester V of Gujarat University BBA course. She has also acted as a committee member for the incorporation of the semester system in the BBA program under Gujarat University and has had an active role in the entire past syllabus revisions for the BBA program. She has served as paper-setter, evaluator and moderator for Gujarat University BBA examinations since March, 2005. She has also served as observer during the various Gujarat University exams.She has also attended several conferences, seminars and workshop on research methodology and effective teaching. She has presented papers in reputed conferences and her research papers have been published in reputed national and international journals.

Prof. Parin Shah brings over 24 years of combined corporate and academic experience to management education. His 7 years in senior roles at HSBC, ICICI Bank, Citi Corp, and Vadilal Enterprises built hands-on expertise in marketing strategy, financial products, channel management, and brand communication — expertise he carries directly into the classroom, making theory tangible and decisions real. He holds a BBA, PGDBM (Marketing), and M.Com, has cleared UGC-NET, and is currently pursuing Doctoral Research in Formulating Strategies for Sustainable Packaging. He began teaching at the postgraduate level (MBA) in June 2009, later extending to the undergraduate level (BBA). His teaching spans Marketing Management, Organisational Behaviour, Strategic Management, Product and Brand Management, Sales and Distribution Management, Banking and Financial Services, and Sustainable Development. Beyond Gujarat University’s BBA programme, he has served as visiting and adjunct faculty at IIPM, IIFM, Annamalai University, Punjab Technical University, and Manonmaniam Sundaranar University. Prof. Shah contributes actively to Gujarat University through syllabus drafting, question paper setting, answer sheet evaluation, Viva Voce examinations, and student mentoring for internships and induial visits.
His research interests span Green Marketing and Eco-Label Trust, Consumer Willingness to Pay for Sustainable Products, Social Influence and Environmental Awareness in Gen Z Purchase Decisions, and Strategic Brand Management – areas where academic inquiry and real-world relevance converge, which reflects a commitment to purpose-driven management education that is both globally relevant and rooted in the Indian context.

She brings over 25 years extensive teaching experience in undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including B.B.A., B.Com., M.Com., M.B.A., B.M.S. she has been associated with reputed institutions such as Veer Narmad South Gujarat University and Gujarat University. She completed her Master’s degree in Economics in 1999 with outstanding academic distinction, securing six gold medals. She has further enhanced her academic credentials by successfully completing UGC-sponsored refresher courses with first class. Prof. Postwalla has actively participated in numerous national and international conferences, seminars and workshops, and has presented several research papers at these forums. Her research work has been published in well-recognized academic journals. She has contributed significantly to academic development as a chairperson and committee member for syllabus revision under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 framework for the B.B.A. program. She has also successfully completed course in Research Methodology and Statistical Analysis through the SWAYAM portal in 2025. She is the co-author for the books of economics subject for B.B.A. syllabus of Gujarat University. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD from JG University, with the research focus on Agriculture finance. She possesses extensive experience as a paper setter, examiner, and observer for examination conducted by Gujarat University.

Dr. Ghata Shukla has 25 years of teaching experience. She has been associated with SLIBA since 2007. Her expertise lies in training the students in written and oral communication. In addition to communication skills, she has taught students English Literature and Linguistics. She has presented research papers in National and International Conferences and Seminars. Her research papers have been published in renowned journals. She was a member of the Syllabus Committee at Gujarat University, BBA, from 2011 to 2022. Presently, she is the Chairperson of NEP -20 Gujarat University BBA Syllabus Committee. She has been contributing to activities related to the University Examination, such as setting question papers, conducting assessments, conducting viva voce, and serving as a moderator in the central assessment. Moreover, she has been supporting the students in cultural and literary events.

Dr. Mittal Parikh has 20 years of academic experience in undergraduate and post graduate programs, including BBA, B.Com., M.Com., and MBA. Her expertise is in the area of Accounts, Taxation and Finance.  She is associated with Som Lalit Institute of Business Administration as an Assistant Professor since academic year 2023-24.

She completed her B.Com. from Som Lalit College of Commerce, securing first rank in F.Y.B.Com. and T.Y.B.Com. and second rank in S.Y.B.Com. in the college for university exams. She has completed M.Com. and M.Phil. in Accountancy from S.D. School of Commerce, Gujarat University. She holds B.Ed. degree from Gujarat University. She has also completed SCOPE and CCC certifications. She has qualified UGC-NET and GSET in Commerce. Additionally, she has also completed Ph.D. in Commerce on “A Study on the Impact of Corporate Social Responsibility on Financial Performance of Selected Companies in India” from Department of Commerce, Saurashtra University. 

Dr. Parikh has presented research papers at national and international conferences, with several articles published in reputed journals. Her research areas of interest include financial performance, Corporate Social Responsibility, Artificial Intelligence. She has actively participated in Faculty Development Programmes to enhance her teaching and research skills. At Gujarat University, she has played a pivotal role in curriculum design, serving as Chairman for syllabus framing in Company Accounts, Corporate Financial Reporting, and Management Accounting (BBA, NEP 2020, Semesters IV–VI).  She has also served as a member of syllabus revision committee in the subject of Advanced Financial Management, Financial Accounting and Cost Accounting for BBA (As per NEP 2020) at Gujarat University. She is a co-author of various Accounts textbooks for BBA and B.Com. syllabus of Gujarat University. Beyond academics, Dr. Parikh has been appointed as observer, paper setter, moderator, and examiner at Gujarat University since 2017. She has been also appointed as a paper setter of GLS and SVGU university.

Utsavi Dave is an Assistant Professor with 11+ years of experience in management education, specializing in HRM, Principles of Management, and Strategic Management. She holds dual Master’s degrees, is pursuing a Ph.D., and has published and presented research papers. Actively involved in teaching, research, and academic administration, she also contributes to workshops, conferences, and university activities. Passionate about holistic development, she blends academic excellence with creativity and student engagement.
