CA Dr. Yukti Modhia M.Com, C.A., NET, Ph.D. Dr. Yukti Modhia is associated with Som-Lalit Institute of Business Administration, as a full-time Accountancy faculty, since last 21 years and is the Director of the B.B.A. programme. Besides having a professional degree of Chartered Accountant, she has completed her doctorate in Accountancy on “A Study on Financial Statements of Selected Companies from Agro-Based Manufacturing Sector in India” from S.D. School of Commerce, Gujarat University.She is a management educator with a passion for teaching-learning since the last two decades. She has more than 20 years of experience in teaching various subjects relating to Accountancy, Direct Tax and Financial Management to management students at the undergraduate level. Her research interests primarily include financial performance and corporate reporting practices of Agro-based industries in India, sustainable economy practices, international trade finance, etc. She has also taught the paper of Financial Analysis and Accounting at International Business Programme Sem-I, which was under joint collaboration of Indian and International University from the UK. She has served in the capacity of chairperson in framing the syllabi of ‘Direct Tax’ and ‘Advanced Tax and Laws’ for semester V of Gujarat University BBA course. She has also acted as a committee member for the incorporation of the semester system in the BBA She has also attended several conferences, seminars and workshop on research methodology and effective teaching. She has presented papers in reputed conferences and her research papers have been published in reputed national and international journals. |

Dr. Archana U. Shah M.Com., LLM (gold medalist), Ph.D.Dr. Archana is a faculty of Industrial and Mercantile Laws with 14 years of academic experience. She is associated with Somlalit Institute of Business Administration as a full time faculty since last 11 years.She was awarded two gold medals for securing first position at Gujarat University in LLM. She has completed her doctorate in law on the topic of ‘International Instruments on Human Rights: An Analytical Study with Special Reference to Promotion and Protection of Women’s Rights in the State of Gujarat’ under the guidance of Dr. Kaushik Raval, Director, School of Law, Gujarat University.She is a member of syllabus committee at Gujarat University for law subject.She has been serving as a paper setter, moderator, examiner and observer at annual pattern and semester system for BBA and B.Com Programmes of Gujarat University. She has presented and published research papers at various institutions, universities, national conferences and international seminars on the topic of women empowerment, social rehabilitation centre for women, untouchables and manual scavenging, etc. Her research papers on the topic of ‘Agariya women’ and ‘Cross border broken marriages’ were published in UGC recognized journals. Her chapter on ‘Social Media’ is in the book published by renowned international publication. She had done orientation course and had attended workshop on legal research methodology. She had attended International Faculty Development Programme by UK-India Education Collaboration, organized by Gujarat University and coordinated by Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat. |

Prof. Parin Shah BBA, Post-Graduation in Marketing Parin Shah has more than 11 years of Corporate and Academic experience. He has been teaching, in PG (MBA) since Jun-2009 and in UG (BBA) since Nov-2009, subjects like Management, Marketing, Organisational Behaviour, Product & Brand Management, Sales & Distribution Management, Banking & Finance, Macro Economics and Strategic Management etc. Apart from Gujarat University’s BBA programme, he also has been teaching in other autonomous and universities UG/PG programs like IIPM, IIFM, Annamalai University, Punjab Technical University, and Manonmaniam Sundaranar University etc. After earning his management degree he joined corporate world. He has served various companies at different management levels for 7 years, like Citi Corp (channel Sales manager for loans), Vadilal (product executive designing-&-managing promotions and advertising), ICICI Bank Ltd (Equipment Loans Manager), , and HSBC (Associate VP for liabilities). He has been active participant in Gujarat University’s activities like paper setting and evaluating, conducting Viva and guiding students for industrial visits and reports etc. |

Prof. Navaz S. Postwalla M.A. (Economics-Gold medalist) Prof. Navaz Postwalla has teaching experience of thirteen years in undergraduate and post graduate courses like B.B.A., B.com., B.M.S., M.com. At Veer Narmad South Gujarat University(Surat) and Gujarat University. She has completed Masters degree in Economics in 1999 with distinction , attended two UGC sponsored refresher courses with first class, also attended various seminars and workshops organized by university and Economics department .She has also presented paper in agricultural economics at State level economic conference. She has wide experience as paper setter, examiner, and observer of various exams conducted by Gujarat University. |

Prof. Ghata Shukla M.Phil., Ph.D. Prof. Ghata holds M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees in English Literature. She is a communications skills and English language and literature faculty at SLIBA since 2007 and possesses an overall teaching experience of 18 years. She received her Ph.D. degree for a study entitled ‘New Literatures: Socio-Political Realities in Select Fiction’ in 2018. She grooms students in English language and communication skills through debates, speeches, group presentations, group discussions, framing questionnaires, English grammar learning, etc. |

Prof. Mittal Parikh M.Com., M.Phil., B.Ed., UGC- NET (Commerce), GSET (Commerce), Ph.D. (Pursuing). Subjects: Accountancy, Taxation and Finance Prof. Mittal Parikh possesses teaching experience of more than 16 years in undergraduate courses like B.Com. and B.B.A. and an experience of more than 4 years in teaching postgraduate courses like M.Com. She is appointed as an Assistant Professor at Som Lalit Institute of Business Administration from the academic year 2023-24. She was previously associated with a Gujarat University affiliated BBA College as an Assistant Professor since 2016 and as a visiting faculty at various commerce, arts and business administration colleges since 2007.She has completed her B.Com. from Som Lalit College of Commerce and has secured first rank in the college for university exams in F.Y.B.Com. and T.Y.B.Com and second rank in the college for university exams in S.Y.B.Com. She has completed M.Com. and M.Phil. in Accountancy from S.D. School of Commerce, Gujarat University. She holds B.Ed. degree from Gujarat University. She has also done SCOPE and CCC. She has qualified UGC- NET and GSET in Commerce. She is currently pursuing Ph.D. from Department of Commerce & Business Administration at Saurashtra University in the field of Commerce under the guidance of Dr. Jyotindra Jani. She has presented papers at national – international seminars and conferences. She has also played active role in revising the syllabus of Accountancy subject for BBA at Gujarat University. | Prof. Utsavi Dave B.Com., M.Com., M.Com. (Management), Pursuing PhD Prof. Utsavi Dave is an Assistant Professor with more than 7 years of experience in teaching management subjects. Prior to joining SLIBA, she has worked as visiting faculty for IGNOU and Assistant Professor at SLCC. She has taught accountancy, marketing and human resources management during this tenure. Prof. Utsavi has handled co-ordination to dance and singing activities for youth festival. She has also worked as observer for university exams. She is paper setter for Gujarat University BBA course since 2025. Prof. Utsavi is currently pursuing PhD from GLS University. She has presented two research papers at conferences.
