	Dr. Sanjay Raval    M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D., Statistics Subjects: Operations Research and Business StatisticsDr. Sanjay Raval has been associated with Som Lalit College of Commerce as full time faculty for the last 22 years and is Head of Department of Statistics. He has 25 years of academic experience having recognition for Under Graduate teaching (UG) since 1997 and for Post Graduate teaching (PG) since 2007 for the subject of Statistics. His experience involves teaching in Gujarat University in various faculties like B.Com, BBA and M.Com, and in IGNOU in faculties of BCA and MCA. He has completed Doctorate from Gujarat University in 2007 in Applied Statistics, published / presented 15 papers at various National and International Conferences / in various Journals. He is a recognized Ph.D. guide for Statistics with Gujarat University. Three candidates have successfully completed their Ph.D. in Statistics from Guj. Uni. under his guidance. Dr. Raval has also completed 2 refresher courses and 1 orientation course organized by the Academic Staff College, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. Besides, he has wide experience as Observer and Examiner at UG and PG exams of Gujarat University. He has also been assigned duties a Co-ordinator for UG and PG external exams conducted by Gujarat University since 2015. He is also associated with National Testing Agency (NTA) for various entrance exam duties since 2019.
	Dr. Kshama Balaji    M.A., Ph.D., English Subjects: English and Commercial CommunicationDr. Kshama Balaji has been full – time faculty for English and Commercial Communication with SLCC for the last 22 years. She has been teaching core subjects namely English and Commercial Communication and Soft skills/foundation subjects like Personality Development, Environment Studies, Presentation Skills, and Writing Skills in accordance with the Gujarat University B.Com curriculum. She is also Faculty In-charge for Fine Arts activities organized at inter–college levels and within the college. She has an M.A. in English from Kuvempu University, Karnataka. She has successfully completed Ph.D. in English from Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, Gandhinagar, under the guidance of Dr. Nigam Dave. Her research area is focused on the city, culture, urbanity and literature. She has presented seminar papers at State and National levels. She has completed the Orientation Course organized by the Academic Staff College, Gujarat University. She has also served as Examiner and Observer at the UG exams conducted by Gujarat University.
	Dr. Bhoomika Shah    M.Com., Accountancy, GUJ-SET, Ph.D. Commerce Subjects: Accountancy and AuditingDr. Bhoomika Shah has been faculty for Accountancy and Auditing with SLCC for the last 20 years. She is M.Com. in Costing, from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. Presently, she heads the department of Accountancy. She is also faculty in charge for competitions and performances of Dance activities (western, folk, classical) organized in the college as well as at inter-collegiate level. She has cleared SCOPE – certification exam for English language proficiency and CCC – exam for proficiency in computer applications.  She has successfully completed Ph.D. in Commerce from S. D. School of Commerce, Gujarat University. Her undergraduate teaching at SLCC includes subjects like General Accounts, Cost Accounting, Corporate Accounting, Management Accounting, Cost & Financial Accounting, etc.  She has wide experience as Observer, Paper Setter and Examiner for the Gujarat University external exams. She is recognized PG Teacher with Gujarat University and teaches M.Com. students at H.K.Arts and Commerce College, Ahmedabad. Dr. Shah has co-authored books for Accountancy subjects according to the B.Com. syllabus for Gujarat University students. She has attended workshops and seminars which include diverse and practical subjects like Tally Accounting. She has also completed Orientation course and 1 Refresher course organized by the Academic Staff College, Gujarat University.
	Dr. Sakina Merchant    M.Com.,UGC-NET,Ph.D. Commerce Subject: Business ManagementDr. Sakina Merchant is associated with Som- Lalit College of Commerce as full-time faculty for Business Management since 20 years. She heads the department of Business Management. She has done her masters in Commerce with Advance Business Management and has successfully cleared the UGC-NET in Management. She holds PhD in Management from Gujarat University to her credit. Her research interest includes entrepreneurship, Agro food business management and use of ICT in academics. She has best research paper awards at national conference to her credit. She has presented several papers at national and international conferences and research publications in reputed journals and conference proceedings. She has rich experience of teaching UG curriculum for commerce since more than two decades.  Besides this she has experience of teaching to BBA, MBA and M.Com students. She has taught the subjects like HRM, Marketing , Production Mgt., Financial Mgt., Rural Marketing, Services Mgt. and Indian Financial System.  As part of overseeing co-curricular activities, she guides students for case- analysis, Business plans and open book management tests for inter-collegiate competitions. As a part of academic pursuit for constant improvement, she has done certificate courses on scientific research writing (40 hours) by IQAC; Gujarat University, FDP in Advance data analysis by St. Kabir Institute of Professional Studies, FDP in teaching pedagogies by UK India, FDP in Statistical Application using SPSS software by G.R Research Academy and refresher program by HRDC, Gujarat University Prof. Sakina has co-authored several books for Management subjects for under-graduate students. She has wide experience as observer and examiner for the external exams conducted by Gujarat University. She has provided her services at Gujarat University as trainer to rural people for promoting micro enterprises in rural areas (A project by Government of Gujarat, GLPC)
	Dr. Nairuti Parikh    M.A., M.Phil., Ph.D., English Subjects: English and Commercial CommunicationDr. Nairuti Parikh has more than 15 years of academic experience, including 14 years experience as full-time faculty for English and Commercial Communication with Som Lalit College of Commerce. Earlier, she has taught at leading institutes of Commerce, Management and Performing Arts as visiting faculty. She has been teaching English Language and Literature, Commercial Communication, Environment Studies and Personality Development in accordance with the Gujarat University curriculum for B.Com. She has also taught communication skills to the BBA students of Som Lalit Institute. She is faculty in-charge for Literary Arts activities including public speaking, quiz etc, for competitions within college and at inter-collegiate levels. Dr. Parikh has successfully completed  Ph.D. in English, in Diaspora Studies, focusing on Indo-Canadian diaspora writers, from the School of Languages, Gujarat University, under the guidance of Dr. Ranjana Harish, besides having completed her masters and M.Phil in English. She has presented papers at reputed national and international seminars\conferences and has completed 1 Orientation course for college teachers organized by the Academic Staff College, Gujarat University. She has also served as moderator, paper-setter, observer and examiner at the Guj. Uni. external examinations.
	Dr. Archana U. Shah M.Com., LLM (gold medalist), Ph.D., Law Subjects: Business Laws & Legal Drafting Dr. Archana Shah is faculty of Business Laws and Legal Drafting with 16 years of academic experience. She is associated with Som Lalit College of Commerce as a full-time faculty for the last 14 years. She was awarded two gold medals for securing first position at Gujarat University at LLM. She has completed her doctorate in law on the topic of ‘International Instruments on Human Rights: An Analytical Study with Special Reference to Promotion and Protection of Women’s Rights in the State of Gujarat’ under the guidance of Dr. Kaushik Raval, Director,  School of Law, Gujarat University. She is a member of syllabus committee at Gujarat University for the subject Law. She has been serving as paper-setter, moderator, examiner and observer at annual pattern as well as semester system for BBA and B.Com Programmes of Gujarat University.Dr. Shah has presented and published research papers at various institutions, universities, national conferences and international seminars on the topic of women empowerment, social rehabilitation centre for women, untouchables and manual scavenging, etc. Her research papers on the topic of ‘Agariya women’ and ‘Cross border broken marriages’ were published in UGC recognized journals. Her chapter on ‘Social Media’ is in the book published by renowned international publication. She had completed orientation course and attended workshop on legal research methodology. She has also attended International Faculty Development Programme by UK-India Education Collaboration, organized by Gujarat University and coordinated by the Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat.
	Prof. Pooja Suresh   M.A. Economics (Pursuing Ph.D.) Subject: General EconomicsProf. Pooja Suresh has been full time faculty with SLCC for Economics for the last 5 years. Her subjects include Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Public Finance, International Economics, Indian Economics and Growth of Indian Industry. She has completed her masters from the department of Economics, School of Social Sciences, Gujarat University, and Bachelors from St. Xavier’s’ College, Ahmedabad. She is currently pursuing Ph.D. from School of Social Sciences, Gujarat University, in the field of International Economics, under the guidance of Dr. Hansa Jain. She formerly worked as an English teacher with Aloha for more than a year. She has made a presentation on the topic “Sustainable Development” at Knowledge Consortium Gujarat organised by B. K School of Management. Besides, she participated in a two day program on “Research Paper” organised by Entrepreneurship Development Institute, Gandhinagar and a seminar on “Knowledge Sharing Program – Faculty Development” organized by IBS Ahmedabad. She has also contributed to the content and editing of books,  Know the Unknown and  Jump-start your Mind – Amazing Facts (2018) by Prabir Basu.
	Prof. Jagruti Pritmani M.Com. Accountancy (Gold Medalist), UGC-NET, GSET, Commerce (pursuing Ph.D.) Subjects: Accountancy, Auditing and TaxationProf. Jagruti Pritmani has been a visiting faculty for Accountancy and Auditing with SLCC since 2016. She has joined as a full time faculty for Accountancy, Auditing and Taxation from academic year 2022-23. She is M.Com in Accountancy from HL Post Graduate Centre.  She is a rank holder in Gujarat University in M.Com and also Gold Medalist in Subjects SM and MM.  Besides, she is a qualified UGC -NET and GSET in Commerce and is currently pursuing Ph.D. in Accountancy in the area of Banking. She has a wide teaching experience as visiting faculty at various colleges and universities like ICNU Nirma University, HL Post Graduate Centre, Gujarat College of Commerce, SLCC and GLSIC. She has taught subjects like Accountancy, Auditing, International Accounting, Financial Statement Analysis, International Business, Business Organization and Management, Management Control System, Taxation, Statistics and Financial Markets at undergraduate and postgraduate level. She has also taught soft skills subjects like Service Marketing and Analysis of Accounting Statement at undergraduate level. Prof. Pritmani has been in the field of teaching for the last 20 years which also includes coaching of students of GSEB and CBSE board schools at a private level. She has experience as Paper Setter and Examiner at ICNU, Nirma University and at the corporate level she has worked as an Accounts Executive. Besides, she also possesses knowledge of computer software like Sage and Access.
	Prof. Tabassum kaji   B.A.(Gold Medalist), M.A., GUJ-SET, Economics   Subject: General EconomicsProf. Tabassum Kaji has been visiting faculty for Economics with SLCC   for the last 3 years. Her subjects include Micro-economics, Macro-economics, Public Finance, International Economics, Indian Economics. She has done her masters from the department of Economics, School of Social Sciences, Gujarat University, and Bachelors from L.D. Arts College, Ahmedabad. She was awarded four gold medals for subject first in at Gujarat University in B. A.  She has been teaching the post graduate students doing Masters in Economics as visiting faculty at L. D Arts College, Ahmedabad, for the last 3 years.
	Prof. Harsh Tripathi   M.Com Accountancy, UGC NET, (pursuing Ph D),   Subject: Accountancy and CommerceProf. Harsh Tripathi is a full time faculty with SLCC from the academic year 2023-24. His subjects include Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Management Accounting and Corporate Accounting. He has completed his Masters from S.D School of Commerce, Gujarat University and his Bachelors from S.M.Patel Institute of Commerce. He is a qualified UGC NET in Commerce and currently pursuing his PhD in Accountancy (thesis submitted) under the guidance of Prof. Dr. S.S. Sodha sir. He has a teaching experience of more than 4 years. He was previously associated with M.P.Patel college and CPC Kadi Constituent College of Kadi Sarva Vishwavidhalaya. He has published 5 research papers in national and international journals of repute including UGC CARE Listed Journals. He has also attended various workshops, seminars and Faculty Development Programs. He has a keen interest in Dramatics and regional literature. He has been invited as Theater Expert in Drama Workhop and has been a part of the national award winning film ‘Hellaro’ in production design team. He is the faculty in charge for Dramatics which includes One Act play, Skit, Mime and Mimicry. He has won prizes in Poetry Recitation Competition and One Act Play for his college at Gujarat University Youth Festival in 2018
	Prof. Krupal Patel M.Sc Statistics, (pursuing Ph D) Subject: Operations Research and Business StatisticsProf. Krupal Patel is a full time faculty with SLCC and SLICA from the academic year 2023-24. He has completed his Masters from Dept. of Statistics, Gujarat University and his Bachelors from Gujarat College. He is currently pursuing his PhD from Dept. of Statistics, Saurastra University. He has 3 years of Corporate experience and 9 years of teaching experience. He was previously associated with M.P.Patel College of Commerce and CPC, Kadi Constituent College of Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya. He has attended various Workshops, Seminars and Faculty Development Programs. He has a rich experience in Sports. He has served as a Sports Coordinator for 6 years and has managed Athletics team and Kho-Kho team of KSV.
	Prof. Mudra Parekh M.Com, GSET Commerce Subject: Business Management Prof. Mudra Parekh is a visiting faculty with in the subject of Management from the academic year 2023-24. She has completed her Masters in Commerce from Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University and is a qualified GSET in Commerce. Her subjects include Marketing Management, Service Management and Business Management.She has four years of teaching experience as a visiting faculty at various institutes of repute including H. L. College of Commerce.  She has participated and served as a volunteer at various NSS National Camps. Besides, she  has also represented  the state in Cultural  Competitions organized by Youth Affairs and Cultural Activities,  Government of Gujarat.
